Mr Paul Allen is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Rivers Ramsay Hospital. Previously he had been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Princess Alexandra NHS Trust in Harlow. He had been on the staff since 1991.
His special interest is in knee surgery. His particular field of expertise is in primary and revision knee replacement and arthroscopic surgery, including meniscal repair and ligament reconstruction.
In the field of knee surgery, he is well known nationally and internationally as a joint replacement surgeon. He established the Harlow Knee Meeting almost 22 years ago.
